(Download my full resume) For the last 30 years I've worked as an activist, educator and non-profit organizational consultant. Many hats but one goal, to make the world a better place by helping those who make the world a better place. In the 1980s I my was active in efforts to stop US interventions into El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua. I also used my energy and skills to organize and train citizens in non-violence civil disobedience, particularly in relation to halting the spread of nuclear weapons. Finally, I had the privilage of working with Greenpeace and the Ralph Nader's network of organizations on anti-pollution, sustainbable energy and other campaigns. Most of my work at that time was as a trainer of state-based activists on media, campaign and legislative strategy.
In the 1990s I secured my Masters in Education. I taught in both public schools and teacher trainer institutions. The focus of much of this work was in development of better communication and collaboration skills among teachers.
Today I continue to consult with non-profits organizations and also have started various other entrepeneurial endeavors. All in all, I'm very proud of the work I've done to energize thousands of people in workshops and help hundreds of organizations better meet their mission. Additionally I'm pleased to look back on the extensive library of published reports, videos, case studies, tools and articles I've authored which are used by thousands of people each year. It's been a good 30+ year run and the next chapters should be even more fun!
